Morally Produced All regular influenza vaccines approved by the FDA in July for the 2009-2010 flu season are morally produced using chick embryo. These vaccines are for regular flu - not swine flu or avian flu. Front runners for swine flu vaccine in cell culture are Novartis and Medimmune, both of which are also using moral sources.
