Press Release - From Pro Vita Advisors

April 22, 2004

Pro Vita Advisors announces a record number of pro-life shareholder resolutions for 2004.  Beginning today at Johnson & Johnson and continuing through mid-June, nine different shareholder resolutions will be offered for voter approval at some of the largest and most influential corporations in the country.  Most resolutions concern charitable contributions to America ’s largest abortion performing organization, Planned Parenthood.  One at Merck concerns their use of fetal tissue derived from abortions in the manufacture of vaccines.  At Berkshire Hathaway, run by one of the wealthiest men in the world, Warren Buffett, the resolution will address the full disclosure of political contributions.  Mr. Buffet, whose personal fortune is dedicated to anti-life causes, endorsed pro-abortion Arnold Schwarzenegger for governor last year.

Pro Vita Advisors wrote and assisted with every resolution.  Thomas Strobhar, President of Pro Vita Advisors, said, “We need to tell corporate America that the taking of human life is obscene and can never be considered business as usual.”
