Step 1 - Begin with
A Simple Egg
The
"Oocyte" or Egg has the
nuclear DNA removed.
This is now referred to as an
"Enucleated Egg"

Why
You Can Clone Just About
Anybody!
FOR EXAMPLE....
Let's
have Bill be our Patient -
Or DNA "DONOR" ....
Step 2 - Select DNA from Patient or Person to be cloned

The Nuclear DNA is taken
from another human
patient or person who
is about to be cloned.
DNA
could be taken from any
"diploid" human cell or cells
containing 46 chromosomes.
(Bill's skin, hair, Monica's dress)
Step 3 - The New DNA is inserted into the Enucleated Egg
The Nuclear DNA from the
Donor
is placed so that the membranes from
both the egg and donor DNA touch.
Step 4 - The Enucleated
Egg with Donor DNA is electrically or chemically stimulated.
This picture shows the
use of electrodes
to stimulate the egg to begin embryonic
development.
Step 5 -A new one-celled
Embryo or Zygote is Formed
The Donor DNA has moved
Into the Egg
to immediately reproduce a new Embryo.
